| With the help of Jim Orman from Bouton, we saddled Mollie up and rode her in the round pen on 7-26-09. We now work with her about every other day. Above, myself, next : Joanie's sister Lori, Next row, left : Jeanna, right: Jessica. |

| We harnessed Prancer up and hitched her to the cart on 7-28. She did fine at first, responded well to gentle rein commands, at I drove her for about 10 minutes. However, I went into the house for a beer and came back out to find Prancer standing at the gate to the pasture, and the cart a mangled mess. Seems that Lori was driving Prancer and Prancer decided she'd rather be in the pasture and took off, kicking the cart loose. Fortunately, neither Lori nor Prancer were hurt. Someday I'll rebuild the cart, repair the harness, and try again. |
