| My G-G-grandmother Nancy A. (Melton, Hamilton, Prater) Horton with her son George Horton. Nancy was first married to James Hamilton, who died in 1852, then married my G-G-grandfather George N. Prater, who died in 1862, then married John Horton. She was the mother of John Allen Prater, who was born in 1860, and others from all three marriages. Nancy was born in 1828, and died in 1908.
